October,  Kannnazuki 神無月

Month of NO gods or Month of gods?

One theory says that in October, the gods from all shrines  in Japan has annual meeting at Izumo Taisya in Shimane prefecture. So there is no gods except in this shrine in all Japan. So in Izumo Provence they say October is Month of gods.神在月

Another theory says  that the second kanji of Kannnazuki 無(the meaning is” there is no”)was put for sounds not for the meaning. Then, October is Month of Gods.
